Leor lives with a group of street children in an abandoned house on the outskirts of the city, hiding from the seemingly immortal beings called Limbos. One night, while he and Rocko search for food, a Limbo gets inside the house and devours the children. Rocko dies protecting Leor, and Leor flees believing he lost everything. A month later, scavenging at night, he finds a Limbo prowling the alleys — and recognizes Rocko's face on the animal.

A boy with a playful personality who hides his depression behind a mask of humor. He remembers almost nothing of his past, only memories from when Rocko, his best friend, picked him up from a river at the age of 8. He shows little concern for the consequences of his actions or for his own survival. He feels no physical pain, but suffers profound emotional pain due to his overwhelming sensitivity.
A youth raised with an obsessive, uncritical devotion to religion. Skilled in leadership and in speaking to the masses, his purpose is to eradicate every existing Limbo with extreme cruelty, aware that he is the only one who possesses that ability. His blind faith keeps him disconnected from reality, and despite his strength his body is as fragile as a withered leaf, suffering constant wounds.
